Babangida's illusion.

It is of a necessity to ask all Nigerians to please forgive Babangida’s folly, the utterances he made were borne out of colossal ignorance or for
all that matters he may be loony. For him to have the gut to even try to justify the evil of June 12, it proves beyond any doubt that the man is
mentally sick. He is yet to catch up with reality of Nigeria in year 2000. There is a profound change in Nigeria people today that cannot be compared to any change we have ever experienced.

The most profound of the change is the readiness and willingness of Nigerians to do away with Nigeria as we have it now for a better
arrangement. This can be testified to by the decision of the man that said to keep Nigeria one is a task that must be done. Gowon is no more ready and willing to GO ON WITH ONE NIGERIA, Arewa is now his domain and enclave, this is beautiful. All the former heads of state and presidents, apart from the interim head of state, are the thrust of ACF, this is lovely. It is undeniably proven that Nigeria now only exit on paper not in spirit. Even the British cannot rescue their servants in the north from the present resolve of Nigerians.

How can you not forgive Babangida, when Obasanjo is still deluding himself about Nigeria, as he usually says that he is more honorable as President of
Nigeria than been president of Odua Republic, he really erred greatly. Obasanjo cannot win presidential election in Odua Republic he knows that for a fact that’s why he cannot but cling to Nigeria Presidency the way he is now doing.

One fact is evident in all this confusion and lack of discerning ability of the so-called leaders in Nigeria. Whoever among them that want to be
relevant in Nigeria’s future must of a necessity fall in line and recognize the quantum changes that are taking place in Nigeria today, Nigerians want a better nation where potentials can be harnessed for greater tomorrow. Under the present arrangement, it is impossible for Nigeria to harness her potentials to attain to greatness in all facets of life. Nigerians desire cannot be ignored or wished away just because we want to stay unite. Our unity must be desirable and justifiable by what is achievable in the union.

Nigerians from all sectors are tried of the status quo; it has to change for Nigeria not to implode. Come to think of it, it is an act of malady for
anyone to suggest Babangida to contest an election in Nigeria, talk less of presidential. If Obasanjo is spineless, that does not mean all Nigerians are
spineless. It is an obvious fact that Babangida is suppose to be in jail where he belong. Is Babangida any different from the notorious Benin armed robber (Anini) of early 90s, no and he wants to be president. Is it not a fact that Babangida joined the Armed Forces after secondary school and was in the service until he was forced out of power by one of his own? Then how did he accumulated the wealth he has, to afford 52 room mansion and fleet of jets, and also been able to contribute 1.3 billion Naira towards Obasanjo’s election. But President Obasanjo is waiting for some Nigerians to furnish him with information proofing that Babandiga is corrupt. What a shame?

I have heard it said by several people even including his wife that President Obasanjo is very stubborn, personally I do not see a stubborn man but a heavily deluded man who is hell bent on self-destruct and probably wants to take Nigeria along with him. As I have stated in one of my articles, I believe Obasanjo’s was chosen of God for Nigeria but God will not force a man to toll the right path, we are all free agents, we have the
right to choose from right or wrong. Obasanjo could be a blessing to Nigeria if he choose to or a curse to Nigeria, the choice is his.

There is a way to get Nigeria on track, if we still want Nigeria to survive, let there be a true federal system of government. Then each state can
develop at her own pace, with her resource. There is nothing new about this, we did in Nigeria between 1952 and 1966, we are all aware of the gains some still endure till this day.

This is to the northerners;

Is the north devoid of able men, are there no young men of virtue anymore in the north that a rogue should be your representative. I know for sure that Madaki and Umar are still well and alive. If you cannot present the best that you have, wait till you produce credible man to run. Babangida is a no, no. He has to pay for the evil he perpetrated on Nigeria. There is no two ways about it. Justice will be served definitely.

Babangida your ill-gotten wealth cannot save you on the day of reckoning and the day is nearer than you can ever guess. You have no choice but to live in fear, the Bible says there is no rest for the wicked and that it cannot be well with the wicked. The judgment of God is against you there is no way of escape. Do not mistake delay for escape.
