Nigeria Can Not Hold By At what point will Nigerians come to final realization that the pretend nation called Nigeria is not working and we must break up and go our separate ways?. What motivation are the southern leaders waiting for to push them over the edge to admit that Nigeria must split? When will the south finally face the truth that 11 states of the predominantly Moslem north of Nigeria have already seceded by the singular act of adaptation of sharia law as supreme over the constitution of Nigeria. What proof do we need to confirm that Nigeria is dead? When will the so call legislators and elected representatives from the Christian south actually represent the voices, sentiments, feeling and wishes of their people in Nigeria? What signs are the Southerners waiting to see to be convinced that northern interest in Nigeria is the oil revenue from the south. How much longer can the modern progressive south continue to baby-seat the medieval worldview that prevails in northern Nigeria? Is not latest attack against Christians in Kaduna and Abuja another slap in the face of the Southern Nigerians? Why must our Christian brothers and sisters continue to suffer needlessly in their own Country? Why is the government impotent to take decisive action to halt the cataclysmic slide towards anarchy? It is glaringly clear that the government have failed the Christians by her continues cower to the whimsical, belligerent antics of the Islamic religious fanatics. First by failing to stop the Sharia enactment. The latest violence against Southerners and Christians in Kaduna and Abuja is another jut to reality that Moslem zealots are bent on imposing their brand of religion on Nigeria. How long can the Christians continue to turn the other chick before our human spirit and dignity revolts? It is no secret that the northern elite benefited tremendously from military dictatorship as they occupied key positions in government and parastatels for which many were unqualified to hold. Many enriched themselves by helping themselves to the coffers of the national treasurer stuffed by oil money derived from the south. This same opportunistic hooligans resent democracy and favor military dictatorship now have the financial wherewithal to finance Islamic Moslem zealots to carry out terror in Nigeria. These misinformed enemies of progress are a part of a larger sinister, devilish plot to use repeated acts of violence to terrorize, create confusion and ware out the Christians into retreat. They have so far succeeded in riding the north of many southerners thereby taking firm control of their own territorial stronghold. Meanwhile, many northern Moslems continue to be accommodated and welcomed in the south.
I tell you the truth the smoldering fire of resentment felt by the south is about to erupt to a full-blown inferno. The Christian south that has burn the brunt of Nigerian tangled mess is ready to settle this nonsense once and for all. The leaders of the south must of necessity listen to the voice of the people and the people are emphatically saying enough is enough. Break up Nigeria now in peace before it is too late. We must retrace our steps and align our people according to common heritage, shared beliefs, goals and aspirations. Enough is enough. Christians in Nigeria have lived up to the spirit of peace by repeatedly turning the other chick and consistent with the Islamic adherent, the Moslems have mistaken that spirit of peace for weakness and have continuously taken advantage of the Christians. The truth is the north have contributed little or nothing to the development of Nigeria yet they want to force their way of life and their religion on the rest of the Country. The south has made all kinds of unreasonable concessions to accommodate the north and the north fails to appreciate the sacrifices of the south. For instance, since the amalgamation of Nigeria, the south have to waited for the north to get up to speed in almost all aspect of national development through quota systems that retarded and slowed the pace of development of the south. While the south continue to strive for education and upliftment of her sons and daughters, the north have refused to embrace education. The reality is that the north and the south of Nigeria have diametrically opposed worldview. Our spiritual and religious worldviews are like water and oil that cannot mix successfully. Why must we force ourselves to live together as a nation when it is obvious that we opposed to each other and have little in common? The teaching of Bible is opposed by the teachings of the Koran in all its ramifications. While the Bible advocate peace, grace, love and freedom; the Koran advocates war (jihad), revenge, force and bondage as a means to the end. If southern Nigeria want to develop and practice our way of life without Islamic zealots running amok in our nation, we need to negotiate a peaceful separation now before it is too let. If we don’t do it now, Islamic fanatics will wax stronger and stronger as they consolidate the northern Nigeria into a monolithic Islamic enclave while neutering significant pockets and presence within the southern parts of Nigeria. Ten, Twenty, thirty, fifty or one hundred years from now, they will install one Islamic zealot into power in Nigeria and he will declare a jihad (war) on the south forcing the ill-prepared, marginalized Christian south into forced submission or face intense persecution similar to what is happening in the Sudan. You tell me that can not happen in Nigeria? Go study world history and see the pattern developing in Nigeria. The time to untangle this colonial fraud called Nigeria is now. Yes, it is not politically correct to say the truth in Nigeria, but I have no choice to but to speak what the Holy Spirit have placed on my heart to say to the Christian south. Nigeria can not hold and the south better wake up to the reality now.
