Some people are born great and some achieve greatness in their own effort by making life worth living for everybody. Mr. VINCENT ONYENOWE ERONDU is an example of a man who has utilized the merger resources at his disposal and humble upbringing into an exemplary life; transforming himself into a beckon of hope and dignity for all; as a family man, as a business man, as a Community advocate and a voice for the voiceless in all ramifications. In most cases, his work and efforts on behalf of others are not known on the pages of newspapers nor was he praised publicly for all his selfless efforts for the Community. Nevertheless, he is still a champion for Justice and Fairness for all. He is a courageous and dependable leader.

 

He was born in Amaoji Ngwauku, Isiala Ngwa Local Government Area (LGA), Abia State Nigeria. Educated at Teacher Training College Ihie. He was a teacher in the Imo State School Board and an instructor Students Aid Academy Port Harcourt. He later became a personnel Manager with General Plastics Nigeria Limited Port Harcourt. In 1981, He moved to the USA for further studies at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He earned Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning and Political Science and Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning. He was a Zoning Specialist/Assistant Secretary to the District of Columbia Zoning Commission, a position that advanced his knowledge in legislation drafting, practices and procedures. Presently, He is a Regional Planner with the State of Maryland Department of Planning. This position exposed him to policy analysis and intergovernmental affairs. He is married with Children. He is an Aspirant for Abia State Central Senatorial Seat.

 

Mr. Erondu was the General Secretary of Nigerian Peoples Party (NPP) Louisiana, USA. Currently He is the Assistant National Secretary, People Democratic Party – USA. He is a TV commentator on African Affairs in Washington, D.C. He is the Coordinator of Nzuko-Igbo, USA (a think tank). He is also a member of Nigerian Project for Justice and Democracy.
